Name Changed to – JAGUAR CARS LTD Display
On Friday 23rd March 1945, an Extraordinary General Meeting was held at the registered office of SS Cars Ltd. Holbrook Lane, Coventry. The Chairman and Managing Director, Mr William Lyons proposed “That the name of the Company be changed to JAGUAR CARS LIMITED”. This was carried out unanimously and signed by William Lyons.
This and many other significant moments in the Company’s history are captured in the Minute Book for the period.
